Katarina and Božo – Wedding
Custom Invitations · Bridesmaid T-Shirts · Poster & Wedding Favors

For Katarina and Božo’s wedding, I was asked to create a playful, colorful visual world full of joy and personality. Katarina wanted everything to feel a little bit Disney, a little bit fun — and definitely filled with confetti energy.

I illustrated the couple dancing for the wedding invitation, with soft lines, exaggerated movement, and a magical vibe reminiscent of classic animated love scenes. The invitation was designed as a folded format so Katarina could seal it with colorful wax stamps — a detail that added personality and charm to every piece.

In addition, I created:
-A “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” T-shirt set for the bridesmaid celebration — each friend received a shirt in her favorite color, with a playful illustration celebrating the wild and beautiful chaos of friendship.

-A seating arrangement poster, echoing the invitation’s style, filled with color and soft, festive flair.

-A thank-you gift tag design: the couple riding a Vespa, printed as mini flags placed into succulent gifts given to guests.

This project was full of warmth, laughter, and movement — a visual love letter from a bride who truly wanted to give something thoughtful and beautiful to her people.

Wedding Invitations & Guest Gifts – Ivo & Martina

Hand-Cut Illustrated Trifold Invitation · Custom Labeled Sponge Jars

For Ivo and Martina’s wedding, I was asked to design an illustrated invitation that felt simple, personal, and special. What followed was a poetic, highly detailed, and fully hand-crafted project — built from story, symbolism, and soul.

The invitation was a trifold piece made of three narrative layers, entirely hand-cut — no machines, just a scalpel, patience, and a lot of care.

-The first frame featured a black-and-white illustration of Ivo and Martina as a couple, softly stylized, romantic but grounded.

-The middle frame held the invitation text, printed over a background illustration of their hands forming a heart, fingertips just about to intertwine — an image of connection and intention.

-The final frame revealed a cutout of intertwined hands, beneath which was a translucent vellum paper pocket, holding light blue and white paper confetti — a quiet celebration tucked inside each piece.

Every invitation was assembled by hand — each cut, fold, and layer — making this a true labor of love. The result was a tactile story of union, intimacy, and quiet joy.

For the thank-you gifts, the couple honored Krapanj, an island known for its sea sponge diving tradition. Guests received glass jars containing natural sea sponges, each labeled with:

-A front message: “Thank you from the bottom of our hearts – Ivo & Martina” with the wedding date

-An inner note sharing the story of sponge diving in Krapanj

-A back illustration of a vintage deep-sea diver

This project combined handmade craftsmanship, storytelling, and cultural heritage, and was one of the most challenging — and fulfilling — design experiences I’ve had. A true lesson in slow design, meaningful symbolism, and the power of detail.

Wedding Design – Lea & Petar
Bubblegum-Pink Invitation · Celebration Illustration Series

For Lea and Petar’s wedding, the bride requested an invitation that felt fun, pink, and more like a celebration than a traditional wedding. Her favorite color — bubblegum pink — set the tone, and she wanted the visuals to feel relaxed and cheerful, not formal.

I created a two-part invitation featuring a custom loose-style line illustration of the bride and groom clinking martini glasses. Surrounding them are hands holding various drinks and bites — a subtle cue that this would be an intimate, joy-filled celebration with close friends and family. The illustration and type choices were casual, a little cheeky, and full of motion.

The same illustration was used for:
-A seating arrangement poster displayed at the restaurant entrance

-Table numbers, tying the whole visual theme together

Thank-you chocolates, with the invitation front reimagined as a wrapper

This was a straightforward, joyful project with clear direction. It was a pleasure to work with a couple who wanted to break formality and celebrate love their way — with color, laughter, and a martini in hand.
