Workshop time – illustrations

Few years back I’ve went to art workshops at Atelje na br.1. I’ve started with illustration workshop. It lasted for two month, we made illustrations in every possible media, and had freedom to make whatever we wanted. In the end of workshop we had to make our final work.

I had these two characters Eyed girl and Hairy potato and wanted to make a scene. Teacher gave me an idea to make diorama or space to look like theatre. So I’ve decided to make diorama in a shoebox. To make it a bit interesting I’ve put small led lamp inside. 🙂

I went to other workshops and made Ludo game and coloring book for kids and parents as my final work. It was a lot of fun making small personal projects. I’ve learned how to plan and make projects to last and have a story. 🙂

Quarantine illustrations

This series of illustrations I’ve made as pandemic started. To escape panic attacks, anxiety and “what if’s”, I’ve buried my head in paper and started to illustrate. Idea was to make fruit and vegetables livable places and spaces, or buildings, vehicles anything that will make me escape or hide from reality. 🙂
I was thinking if we are what we eat, than, shit, this virus was legit. Why not meet possibility living on food or travel by one.. maybe in this quarantine I might have a chance to see that we are reckless and annoyingly forgetful of freedom, nature and relationships with ourselves and others.. 🙂
