Children’s T-Shirts — BoOm Series & Custom Character
Private Client Gift Project · Preschool Illustration Tees

A client commissioned me to create two unique T-shirts as gifts for his preschool-aged niece and nephew. He wanted something fun, expressive, and original — a design that would stand out from typical commercial kidswear.

He selected prints from my BoOm illustration series, a playful and chaotic collection filled with quirky characters and exaggerated scenes. The favorite was “What’s Up Witches” — a fun, confident, slightly mischievous piece that brought a lot of personality to a kid-sized tee.

The other T-shirt featured a one-off illustration titled “The Traveler” — a giant man squeezed onto a Vespa, centered inside a red circle. It’s a humorous, bold visual that kids (and adults) love for its simplicity and absurdity.

Both shirts were printed using high-quality digital printing on soft, durable cotton tees made specifically for children. It was a pleasure creating something with real kid-appeal — colorful, bold, and just a little weird in the best way.

MIMI BOOZE
MIMI BOOZE

Mimi Booze — T-shirt Illustration

From the series: “People from the Bar”

Meet Mimi Booze — the tragicomic diva of late-night storytelling. This illustration was created as a special t-shirt gift for a friend and is part of my ongoing character series People from the Bar, which explores eccentric bar personalities with a twist of humor and sadness.

Mimi is mid-monologue, retelling a heartbreak to a weary bartender, her drink nearly empty, cigarette burning endlessly. Her hair — a stormy cloud of curls — seems to puff up from her cigarette smoke, adding volume and drama to her already theatrical presence.

I enjoyed experimenting with perspective and exaggeration here: her droopy, drunken expression balances the comedy with just enough melancholy. This piece plays with that fine line between humor and loneliness — the kind you only see under bar lights at closing time.

Mimi Booze is special she is a symbol of a character of croatian tragicomc persons coming to a bar at 4 am for a last shooter before bed and leaves at 7 am still not finished story of hard life and all men are pigs – but would give all for one hug or a compliment.

CAPTAIN
CAPTAIN

4AM Captain” — T-shirt Illustration

From the series: “People from the Bar”

This grumpy old sea dog is part of my illustrated series People from the Bar. I made this t-shirt for a dear friend, inspired by a familiar archetype — the sailor who drinks beer like it’s medicine and tells half-truths like gospel.

He shows up like clockwork at 4AM, orders his pint, lights his pipe, and shares a few salty tales before heading off to fish at dawn. No small talk, no drama — just frothy beer, thick smoke, and a quiet ritual that marks the end of the night or the start of the day, depending on who you ask.

I focused on warm tones and bold lines to echo the character’s rugged calm. His face carries time and stories — and so does the spilled beer, casually ignored as if it’s part of the scene.

“4AM Captain” is a quiet nod to those who live by tides and taverns — always passing through, never staying long.

KIKI & MIKEY
KIKI AND MIKEY

Kiki & Mikey — “Bar Slugs with Big Thoughts
From the series: People from the Bar

Meet Kiki and Mikey. Two regulars who marinate nightly in smoke, whiskey, and tragic overthinking. They’re not friends, exactly. Just synchronized orbiters around the same cracked bar top.

Tonight’s topic? The unbearable weight of cleverness — especially in the absence of women who “get it.” The conversation loops around their unmet need for someone soft, non-intellectual, and preferably mute — just a body to silence the brain.

They’re not misogynists — they’re just philosophically tired. Smoked out and drank dry, caught in an endless spiral of cheap drinks and cheaper epiphanies.

Kiki’s losing hope. Mikey’s still making a case for his brainless goddess. Neither’s going home with anyone but each other’s echo. I’ve made this sweatshirt for a friend, who is sometimes a bar slug.

tell her how much you appreciate and love her.
And if you’re the one doing the laundry —
treat yourself with the same care.

Custom T-Shirts — Quarantine to Collection
Private Client Project · Illustration-to-Wear Series

This was my first custom T-shirt illustration commission, designed for a couple who wanted one-of-a-kind prints with character, humor, and personal meaning.

The client selected four illustrations from my “Quarantine Collection”, a series I drew during lockdown — vegetables and fruits reimagined as planets or strange transport vehicles, combining surreal whimsy with everyday objects. His wife chose a strawberry planet from that same collection, and then asked for something bolder and more playful — which led to illustrations from my sketchbook, including a manga-style pink-haired girl giving the middle finger, and an early version of Rozalinda, a glamorous, full-bodied diva who later became part of my Rista, Peri-Deri series.

I managed the full production process:
-Prepared all illustrations for digital print

-Selected heavyweight, high-quality 100% cotton T-shirts for durability and comfort

-Oversaw color accuracy and softness of print

This project was a beautiful turning point — not just technically, but emotionally. It showed me how wearable art can carry a story, a joke, or a mood — and how personal illustrations can become meaningful everyday objects.
